HR Management

As the human resource manager at my organization, I would swiftly act when reports get to my attention that a female worker is sexually harassed by a fellow male worker.  The first step would hold talk with the female worker to get first-hand information before eventually talking to the male worker.  Assuming female worker is Jayne and the male worker is William, below are the conversations I would have with both of them.

Jayne: Hello sir, I am Jayne from the sales department. I would like to report my fellow employee William from my department who has been harassing me sexually by constantly asking me out even after I politely declined his invitation. He is creating a very unfriendly environment that is tampering with my work.

Me: Hello Jayne, I am glad that you are brave enough to come to me. I am sorry for what you have been going through. Williams’ behavior is unacceptable considering this is a free and democratic organization where workers are not forced to do things against their wishes. As a result, my office will take the necessary steps to tame his behavior and use him as an example to show other employees that our organization has a zero tolerance regarding sexual harassment (J.J. Keller & Associates, 2013).  Thank you very much for coming to me. The necessary action will be taken, and this will not happen again.

Jayne: Thank you, sir.

After this conversation, I would invite William into my office and clearly inform him that his fellow worker of sexually harassing her.  I would try to find out reasons behind his behavior and make it clear to him that my organization will not tolerate his behavior and that every worker has the right and freedom to decide what he or she wants. As a result of his behavior, I would suspend him for two weeks.
