There should be enactment of legislation that ensures all those who purchase guns are properly licensed, or risk fines or jail term. Legislation should also cover gun sellers to reduce incidences where they issue guns to criminals or persons with poor background checks. Some political factions have called for enactment of strict gun control rules or a total ban on gun licensing. However, others argue that this might not the solution to gun violence in the U.S.
