Methods

Data were obtained through the New York City Department of Mental Health and Hygiene’s data portal (https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/data/data-home.page). For this project the data were from 2017 Community Health Survey.

Measures

The Community Health Survey collects data on a wide range of health issues (NYCDOHMH, 2017). For this project demographic data and data on health issues relevant to COVID 19 were collected.
