Question 1

It is the dream of every employer to get the best talent in the market especially in the production and customer service assistant department. There are many factors that may influence the choice of the customer care assistant considering that they need to be caring and show high levels of concern for the customers’ wellbeing.  On the other hand, the production unit of the company would require individuals who are hardworking, who has experience in the production unit as well as someone who is reliable and dependable (Ladenson, Mayers, Hyslop, & Association of Research Libraries, 2011). Five places that are likely to produce the best candidate for these positions include a college campus, staffing company, and unemployment office, online services such as LinkedIn and job fairs.

Question 2

Before securing a position in an organization, candidates must undertake assessment and pre-employment tests to gauge their abilities, skills, and knowledge of the position at hand.  Thus, a staffing company is the ideal place to get qualified personnel considering that all their candidates must undertake these tests and only the best talents are selected. On the other hand, unemployment offices are known to give general labor job to their workers which mean that those working in these offices have experiences or an idea of what is expected of them in my organization if they employed (United States, 2008). Notably online sites such as LinkedIn and job fairs present an opportunity for the employer to review and evaluate resumes and previous positions the candidate has worked to determine if they will be a fit for the company based on their background. Finally, employers can get the best talent in the labor market from a college campus with the help of professors and lecturers where they can monitor the progress of the candidate as well as train them to fit in their company.
